Terms of use

The service

Dinner. Simple. Sorted! is a meal planning tool: pantry tracking, meal suggestions ranked by what you have, weekly plans and consolidated shopping lists. It is a planning aid, nothing more.

Your account

You need a verified email address to use member features. You are responsible for your password and for the accuracy of what you record, including the dietary and allergy information for your household members.

Dietary and allergy information

Diet tags, allergen flags and exclusions are best-effort filters built on curated recipe data. They are a planning convenience, not medical advice and not a guarantee. Always check ingredient labels yourself, especially where an allergy is severe. Recipe contents can be wrong; if you spot an error, use the correction form on the recipe page.

Recipe content

Recipes come from an open, curated library (currently TheMealDB) and carry their source on every row. We may edit, correct or remove recipes at any time, including corrections submitted by members.

Free and premium features

Some features are behind a premium flag. New accounts get a 30-day premium trial; after it ends, premium-gated features lock until your account is upgraded. The set of premium features may change over time.

Acceptable use

Don't abuse the service: no automated scraping beyond normal browsing, no attempting to access other households' data, and no uploading files that are unlawful or harmful. Accounts that abuse the service may be removed.

Availability and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranty. We aim to keep it running but don't promise uninterrupted availability. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from use of the service.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be flagged on this page with a fresh date. Continued use after a change means you accept it. Questions go through the support page.
