Frequently asked questions
By coverage: meals you can fully make from what's in your kitchen come first, then ones missing one or two items. Anything your household's diets, allergies or exclusions rule out never reaches the list.
The kitchen is your standing inventory — a light list of what's on hand. The weekly plan is a generated set of dinners for the week. Both feed the same shopping list, which drops anything already stocked.
Things most kitchens always have: salt, oil, pepper, flour and so on. They're pre-filled for every household and assumed in meal matching, so they never clutter your list or your shopping.
Switch your household to "me and others", then add each person. A member's allergens and diets join the household's hard filters; things they dislike show as a warning on the recipe rather than banning the meal; things they love nudge ranking upward.
They're built on curated ingredient data and work as a strong first pass, but recipe data can be wrong. Always verify ingredients yourself, especially for severe allergies — and report anything off via the correction form on the recipe page.
Every new account starts with a 30-day premium trial. After it ends, premium-gated features (like the consolidated shopping list) lock and you'll see an upgrade prompt. The kitchen, meal ideas and household features stay available while their flags are free.
Use "Report a problem" on the recipe page. Corrections go to a human review queue and you get an email when it's resolved or dismissed.
Most data is editable or removable in place: members, pantry items, plans and favourites all delete from their own screens. For full account deletion, open a ticket on the support page.
