Privacy

What we store

• Account: your name, email address and a hashed password.
• Household data: pantry items, dietary requirements, excluded ingredients and cuisines, favourites, meal plans and shopping list ticks.
• Household members: the names, age bands, allergies, diets and like/dislike ingredients you choose to record for the people you cook for. Treat these as sensitive: they describe real people, so only record what your household is comfortable sharing.
• Support and corrections: ticket messages, any attachments you upload, and recipe corrections you submit.

What we don't do

• No advertising, no third-party trackers, no analytics beacons.
• No selling or sharing your data with anyone.
• No tracking cookies: the only cookies are the session and security cookies the app needs to work.

Email

We send account email (verification, password resets, welcome), replies on support tickets you open, and recipe shares you trigger. We do not send marketing mail.

Retention and deletion

Unverified accounts are deleted after 24 hours. When an account is removed, its household (pantry, members, plans, favourites, list state) goes with it. Support attachments live on private storage and are only reachable through the ticket they belong to.

Your controls

Everything you enter can be edited or removed in the app: profile details, household members and their dietary info, pantry contents, plans and favourites. For anything else (exports, account deletion), open a ticket on the support page.
